Helleborus x iburgensis 'Moondance'

Helleborus x iburgensis 'Moondance' is another release from Rodney Dave's RD Plants in Devon. This sterile hybrid combines the best traits of the Christmas rose, Helleborus niger with the silver-veined foliage of Helleborus lividus, and the colorful flowers of Helleborus x hybridus. Helleborus 'Moondance' is the first pure white flowered selection in the Frost Kiss series, forming an 18" tall x 2' wide clump of black-green, silver-veined leaves. Starting for us in mid-February (NC), the clumps are topped with 18" tall spikes of white, outfacing flowers...often with a chartreuse blush to the center of the petals.
