Set up by the RHS some years ago and transferred under Howard's banner this group tends to be more horticulturally based but still has a strong friendship element with meetings regularly in the Bowls Hut during the winter and visits to gardens and nurseries during mid-summer (often preceded by a pub lunch). (Meetings are usually held on the 2nd Monday each month) Our year will again conclude with a special Christmas meal in early December.

We usually try to organise a Christmas meal at a local venue and participants are welcome to bring partners etc for an enjoyable few hours with good food and great company.
